Hello! So you want to be an electronic trader? First off, you're better off with a degree in computer science or statistics than with an MBA. You will also have to learn a lot of things on your own since people that make money in this field do not help others compete.

You will get the broadest experience from a sell side firm like Morgan Stanley or Goldman Sachs. If you can get into one of their intern programs that will provide you with the best start. However, you will probably have a higher compensation in a hedge fund in the long run.
